It's a Metaphysical Christmas!
Well, I just completed my last craft fair of the season at Aggie Hall in Ladysmith. It was the Metaphysical Yule / Christmas Craft Fair put on by Natasha's Temple Studio. It was such fun and there were so many interesting people. Lots of palm readers, crystals, smudging and I even had a bone reading done by a shaman! Thanks to everyone who showed up. It's always nice to meet Facebook customers in real life :)
Going to be announcing a big pre-Christmas sale tomorrow so stay tuned. ;)

Handmade Pledge
I don't mean to sound like a grinch, but there is an alternative to all this big-box consumption: handmade! I love handmade gifts. They are so much more thoughtful and meaningful (not to mention unique)! And, if a piece of jewelry from Namaste isn't for you, there are a lot of other great options like Etsy!
If you're like me and you want to battle the negative connotations associated with Christmas, take the handmade pledge.

Shades of Green
Hello and welcome to my new blog!
The purpose of this blog is to entertain, educate and inform! Namasté Living is something I started two years ago. I create unique handcrafted jewelry inspired by the West Coast, India, Tibet, Nature and YOU! :)
I sell mostly online and at craft fairs and farmers markets. But I also have jewelry in some Vancouver Island stores - Tranceformations Tattoo & Piercing, Scrapbook Parade and Shades of Green. In fact, I just dropped off some new pieces to Shades of Green (located in Parksville, BC) the other day. If you see something you like, be sure to drop in. It's a great store full of sustainably made and Fair Trade clothing, eco friendly bath linens, safe cleaning products, natural baby essentials, Soy & Beeswax candles and so much more....
Check out the new Namasté creations that they are carrying!
